Classic Car Day - Penrith Regatta Centre.

While a couple of members attended the NRMA Motorfest in the heart of Sydney, other members celebrated Australia Day at Penrith Lakes, a venue that we were first invited to last year.  Australia Day being on Monday instead of a Saturday like last year, produced less crowds and traffic congestion but the event was still attended by thousands of people.

Once again we met at Dave D's place and travelled in convoy.  On arrival we were asked to park in the middle of the car display area but after parking in the shade of the biggest trees, the Mustang Club arrived with 40+ cars so the only right thing to do was to move up and give them some more room which unfortunately put us under the shade of the smallest trees and took us away from the main entrance so most of the people attending the event didn't get to walk past our cars.

We were lucky with the weather - after quite a few days of 40C + weather the Monday was quite pleasant.  We had 7 Studebakers on display and quite a few people took a detour to inspect and talk about our cars.
